Nosso bem estar depende indiretamente do welfare state proporcionado pelo governo ao seu povo. Vamos imaginar um pouco como seria vida sem energia elétrica na idade média. A vida cotidiana humana era regrada pela natureza. Acordaríamos ao amanhecer com o canto das aves e com o gargarejo de algum galo em algum poleiro. Não existia nenhuma infra-estrutura básica que temos hoje em dia. Supermercados ou shopping centers nem na imaginação existiam. Toda a produção humana era artesanal e dependíamos exclusivamente das intempéries climáticas para termos nossa dispensa abastecida ou não.
Viagens então seriam inviáveis para todos não se faz mais que 60 km /dia a cavalo ou a pé sem contar que se precisava levar seu alimento junto e as estradas cortavam florestas que contavam com muitos perigos. As pessoas viviam entorpecidas pelas cervejas ou vinhos da época, o café ainda era algo inacessível a todos. A vida social terminava ao por do sol e todos passavam a viver no escuro iluminados por velas ou fogueiras.
Hoje temos uma serie de ofertas e demandas acessíveis de produtos e serviços que fariam inveja a qualquer rei da idade media, mesmo assim somos infelizes, ou melhor, sempre estamos insatisfeitos.
Por quê?
Nós damos muito valor ao tangível e menosprezamos o intangível. Quantos indivíduos não se endividam para ter um carro luxuoso do ano só para serem chamados de doutores ou quantos altos executivos mesmo recebendo altos salários estão sempre endividados para satisfazer seus impulsos de consumo.
No passado o “panes et circense” era o coliseu,as execuções publicas ou as guerras e nos séculos XX e XXI “panes et circense” vem dos cinemas ,das compras em shoppings e principalmente parecer aos outros algo que não somos de fato.
As raízes de nossa insatisfação decorrem da confusão que fazemos na compreensão e da maneira que manipulamos 3 verbos em nossas vidas. Preferimos “ter” ao “ser” e confundimos o estado de “estar” com o estado de “ser”.

We should wake up at dawn with the singing of birds and with gargle some cock at some roost. There was no basic infrastructure that we have today. Mocha-Berry
140 ml café espresso/ 140 ml coffee
55 ml licor de framboesa/ 55 ml raspberry liqueur
2 colher de sopa de cacao em pó/2 tbsp cocoa powder
45 ml chantilly/ 45 ml whipped cream
Despeje o café em um copo de café irlandês. Adicione o licor e mistura de cacau, misture bem e cubra com creme chantilly.
