Translate Chinese "hoyou": translated from Chinese as deceitful, or swindle. Not enough to be fraud is more bravado than to blow.

Well, the acronym BRICS is this. Not enough to be fraud, but it is deceitful. It doesn’t exist as a group. There is, Yes, Brazil, Russia, India, China and now South Africa. Exist and are important, but it would be important anyway even though a smart market agent named Jim O'Neill hadn't invented the acronym.

Investors were the target audience of O'Neill to create his "hoyou": attracting them to investments in promising markets but who were not--nor do they have--the smallest historic loop, geographical, political, and institutional or any other political and economic convergence loop.

The BRICS does not have a single joint policy. Nobody ever takes the trouble to consult the group to adopt any measure, economic, political, security, whatever. It’s for the simple and good reason that is no joint position of the group for anything. There may be a position each country about, say the situation in Syria or about the debt crisis in Europe. Such positions can even be coincident, but not because were combined before. It’s a simple coincidence.

The BRICS have completely different other realities. Each of which has its regional geopolitical ambitions and on a global scale that collide with each other and with other neighboring Nations. China has its trade problems with the Viet Nam and Thailand, as well as the Brazil has problems with Argentina, Russia with Ukraine and India with their political problems with the Pakistan military.

The symbol until it is cool, but there is a common practice among the SCIRB!
