Uma verdade e uma mentira não melhoram nossa insanidade social.( A truth and a lie don’t improve our social insanity.)

A verdade!

A mentira !

The truth!

The coffee grounds are discarded daily may disappear with the typical smelly sewer. Researchers report that the coffee grounds can absorb hydrogen sulfide gas, causing much of the odor of sewage.

Currently, it’s using activated carbon or charcoal porous to extract the hydrogen sulfide in sewage treatment plants.

However, the researchers found that when the coffee is transformed into waste activated carbon, it absorbs sulfur--one of the components of hydrogen sulfide, particularly well. This is due to the presence of a key component: the caffeine.

Caffeine contains nitrogen, which increases the ability of carbon to eliminate sulfur from air. To carbonize the Lees of coffee mingles the lees to water and dry the mixture zinc and later in an oven.

The fresh coffee would work even better, because it has more caffeine, but it is not cost-effective to utilize it.

The lie!

One of the main scientists in defense of the reality of global warming caused by man fell in disgrace last week.

The American hydrologist Peter Gleick assumed publicly that if passed by another person to try to expose the tactics of a group of climate skeptics.

The case further poisons public debate about global warming in the United States, a country which is one of the main responsible for the problem--thanks to huge quantities of greenhouse gases that the nation produces--and where the political bickering between those who believe in the phenomenon and those who deny its existence hangs the actions to mitigate it.

An anonymous sender sent to organs of the press and bloggers Americans what seemed to be sensitive documents from the Heartland Institute, American conservative NGO that promotes, among other things, the climate skepticism among the public.

The documents include a list of the donors of the Office--including Microsoft and General Motors--and details of a plan to create a curriculum for public schools about climate change, with the goal of teaching that scientists do not know if the man is changing the climate.

The leadership of the Heartland Institute came to public to say that one of the documents disclosed was false and threatened to sue the responsible for the leak. NGO officials arrived to speculate that Gleick was one of "obvious suspects".

The scientist it’s just admitting guilt in a post on his blog on the site "Huffington Post". He reportedly received a version of the documents anonymously by mail and, to confirm the veracity of them, would have passed by a member of the Board of Directors of the Heartland Institute.

Gleick was publicly condemned by AGU (American Geophysical Union), to which it belongs, and resigned at the Pacific Institute in California.

A lie repeated many times becomes a questionable truth and a fact repeated only once falls into oblivion of the collective unconscious.
