Café o ouro negro (Coffee black gold)

“O café é o ouro do homem comum, e lhe traz o sentimento de luxo e nobreza.”

-Sheik Abd-al-Kadir-

"Coffee is the common man's gold, and brings the feeling of luxury and nobility."-Sheik Abd-al-Kadir

To take a cup of coffee, enjoy the nuance of your notes, your balance, your body, we think: "This café is perfect!"

Worldwide, millions of people enjoy daily breakfast, expressing intimately their satisfaction and pleasure with this drink unmistakable.

The common or gourmet coffee, cappuccino or espresso, mild or strong throughout its range of flavors and shapes, is appreciated in homes and streets, at work and at leisure, restaurants, offices, meetings and conferences where you decide the fates of enterprises and Nations. The coffee is ubiquitous in our civilization.

To prepare it, we could think of its source, in its long history of coexistence with man, that region of the world he came from, who planted, harvested, marketed, went through industrialization, export, or even why it has the flavor and aroma that we feel at that exact moment. Not always do this, because we drink coffee because it draws us and we appreciate. Want a cup of coffee ... This happens since the first record proven existence of coffee, in the 15th century. During the 15th and 16th centuries, the knowledge of its stimulant effects spread by the East. In Persia, for the first time, it was roasted. The Arabs came to cultivate the product and one of his most important species today is called "Coffea Arabica".

Consumption grew among the Arab peoples and the infusion prepared from coffee came to be called "Kahwah" or "Cahue"-in Arabic. The word coffee has its origin is disputed: it may be originating region of Kaffa in Abyssinia; or can come from Arabic Karah or Gavah, wine; or, still, Turkish language, Koveh or Kaveh and, hence, coffee.

Around 1615, coffee started to be enjoyed on the European continent, brought by travelers from the East, but the plant's production was only possible some time later. Until the 17th century, only the Arabs produce coffee and had all the information about him, forbidding its output, unless the beans are boiled – that prevented the later germination. German, French and Italians sought a way to develop the planting in its colonies in the southern hemisphere until around the 17th century, gradually started cultivation in Europe, where the coffee enticed the world and spread through maritime trade.
