As nações através dos tempos procuraram oferecer os melhores estilos de vida para seus cidadãos e a impor seu modelo de vida para os povos dominados por estes estados.
Não é de se admirar que mesmo depois de vários séculos da queda do império romano seu legado ainda persiste no século XXI. O estilo de vida europeu dominou as mentes e os povos do novo mundo no século XVI e XVII promovendo o que conhecemos como colonialismo. Hoje temos o que podemos denominar de neo-colonialismo as nações que se recusam adaptar a sua estrutura social aos moldes ocidentais.
Certo ou errado a civilização humana caminha igual aos caranguejos em termos de liberdades individuais. Desde 11/09/2001 observamos um retração dos direitos individuais para determinar e legitimar as ações de estado contra inimigos sejam estes militares, econômicos ou sociais. Somados as experiências socialistas de estados fortes onde o individuo é ou era apenas uma insignificante peça das engrenagens sociais podemos vislumbrar um cenário futuro que levará a idiotização das massas através do que estes estados oferecem aos seus cidadãos na forma de entretenimento, ou melhor, pelo tipo de “panes et circense” que será e é oferecido as massas populares.Ficando a informação pertinente acessível a poucos.
O grande paradigma e paradoxo será como os estados conseguirão diminuir sua desigualdade social entre si e dentro de seus próprios países com estas políticas determinadas por suas oligarquias orgânicas de privilegiados. A civilização humana poderá passar a usar para irrigar suas plantações gatorate,coca-cola ou energéticos pela escassez de água potável.
