O maior desafio da civilização humana é diminuir as desigualdades sociais entre os países e reduzir a desigualdade social dentro dos países. São dois movimentos sociais distintos que convergem para o mesmo ponto em comum.
Diminuir o impacto da atividade humana no planeta!
O que espelha a desigualdade entre os países são o abismo e os muros sociais desenvolvidos nos séculos XVIII, XIX e XX entre as sociedades mais desenvolvidas ocidentais e as sociedades emergentes dos BRICS e a diferença entre estas duas sociedades e as sociedades denominadas de terceiro e quarto mundo.
Outro espelho da desigualdade humana é o fato que na década de 1950 um trabalhador de chão de fabrica ganhava 40% menos que o presidente da empresa, hoje esta diferença ganha a casa dos 1000 %.
Não basta mais “ser” e preciso “ter” ou parecer “ter”. A globalização agilizou este processo de desigualdade entre as nações e entre os cidadãos de um mesmo país. Os USA são uma amostra disto. A política que os levou a vencer a guerra fria contra a ex-URSS trouxe em seu bojo a desigualdade interna.
Talvez a saída seja uma releitura de 1789 do lema revolucionário:
Igualdade!
Fraternidade!
Liberdade!
