O procurador-geral da República, Roberto Gurgel, pediu ontem ao STF (Supremo Tribunal Federal) a condenação de 36 réus por envolvimento no esquema do mensalão. Somadas, as penas máximas chegariam a 4,7 mil anos de prisão.

A CGU (Controladoria-Geral da União) apura irregularidades em 34 contratos de obras e uma licitação do Dnit (Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes) e da Valec, estatal de ferrovias, órgãos vinculados ao Ministério dos Transportes.

No caso do “mensalão” sem duvida os companheiros são culpados. Mas este esquema não foi invenção do PT ou do Lula apenas. FHC, Sarney e Collor usaram e abusaram deste plano. Este esquema aparece na historia brasileira claramente no período da regência quando foi votada a maioridade de D. Pedro II em 1840.

Ministério dos Transportes é o que podemos definir como o buraco negro da corrupção nacional. Nem a luz escapa deste redemoinho de putrefação.
